It is the group leader’s responsibility to inform each member about allthe details and payment policies related to the trip. 

Trips for groups must be reserved with a 50% deposit the date of the booking.  The remaining balance is due prior to the trip.  Rates may be adjusted as group size changes.  As the group leader you are responsible for the payment and may have to pay for someone who does not show up.  Please use our Group Leader Payment Record to ensure you get payment from all members of you party. 

Rain policy: We do not consider your vacation to be an extreme sporting event. We believe in "glide and relax" kayaking. We believe your kayaking adventure is about communing with nature and for us, passing along our extensive knowledge of the area. Sea kayaking can be a very enjoyable activity in the rain. Showery weather is common to coastal environs and usually means that there will be less wind. Our policy is not to cancel for rain, however should there be driving rain and wind we will likely cancel. In addition you will be snugly cocooned by your life jacket, and we recommend that you bring extra clothing to change into afterwards, just in case.

Groups: All group reservations must be cancelled no later eight days prior to the group tour or group rental. Group tours or group rentals that are cancelled between two and seven days prior to the tour will be assessed a 50% non refundable deposit charged to the credit card on file. Group reservations require advance cancellations, subject to group size as determined by Kayaks etc. Please ask when making group reservations about the applicable cancellation deposit.  A "group" is six or more people.
